International Career

European bronze medalist, World Championship finalist

Barak stepped onto the international stage representing Israel in elite kayaking competitions across Europe and beyond. In 2005, he competed at the European Championship in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and traveled to Cyprus for additional competitions.

The following year brought his breakthrough: at the 2006 European Championship, Barak won a bronze medal in the doubles kayak (K2) 200-meter sprint alongside his partner Kalagnov. He went on to compete at the World Championships, where the pair achieved an impressive sixth-place finish in the K2 event.

With competitions in France in 2006 and a growing reputation on the circuit, Barak established himself as one of Israel's premier sprint kayakers on the world stage.
